Melise Williams was one of the 12 finalists on Season 1 (AUS) of The Face, who was a member of Team Nicole.
Profile[]
Melise started modelling as a child at a kid’s agency, but when she was 13 the owner of the agency suggested she should model as an adult. She did a few jobs here and there, but got serious when her braces came off at 16. She left school at 17 to pursue modelling full time, and is currently signed with Debut Management in Sydney.
Melise has travelled internationally a lot for work. She did her first magazine cover for Metro Magazine on her 16th birthday in New Zealand, and has also worked in Paris, Milan and New York. Her career highlight to date was opening her first runway show ever at Australian Fashion Week for designer Toni Maticevski.
Melise sees herself as a high fashion editorial girl and would love to be on the cover of Italian Vogue, as well as a Victoria’s Secret angel. Melise is very driven and makes no apology for her ambition. She says the rejection in modelling is hard but she has learned over the years how to deal with the setbacks. She is thankful for the strong women in her life who have shaped her into the person she is today – strong, determined and courageous.
Aside from modelling Melise is a massive foodie. She can’t cook but says she loves to eat out and try different food, especially when in a foreign country.
