Shenika Rule was one of the 12 finalists on Season 1 (AUS) of The Face, who was a member of Team Nicole.
Profile[]
Shenika currently lives in Perth with her three-year-old son Harley and partner, and works as a receptionist at a health clinic. Shenika’s first taste of modelling was on a course for Aboriginal girls called Black Pearl which was tailored to building confidence. Then, at age 16 her sister sent a photo of Shenika into an agency, she was signed up and her modelling career began. She is currently signed to Scene Model Management in Perth. Shenika has done mostly catwalk and commercial work, but almost no editorial work. In her first ever runway show she walked alongside Samantha Harris at the International launch for Kooey swimwear, and she recently opened the Perth Fashion Festival .
Shenika has had a tough upbringing after her father passed away at a young age, leaving her mother to raise nine young girls. As the eldest child, and a bit of a tomboy, Shenika stepped up to take over the chores her father used to do. Shenika is about to start studying Nursing and then continue to Midwifery as it is something she is very passionate about. She would ultimately like to travel to small country communities to help Aboriginal women with their health and the health of their families.
